V Calvez, Owner and Lead Engineer
Van (aka V) Calvez is a composting systems engineer specializing in developing appropriate technology for community composting and institutional applications.
With over 20 years of composting expertise, including his work with Green Mountain Technologies since 2010, he has sold, designed, and/or commissioned more than a hundred in-vessel systems.
V is known for building strong client relationships and caring deeply about the success of his clients. One of his mantras is: your success is my success!

V has a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering/Human Factors Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors Engineering from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
At home, V manages the composting system for his community. V enjoys digging in the dirt, making compost, and helping to build soil fertility. And V loves to help people compost!
